I had planned on moving supplies from my old tank at my old home seamlessly into the new tank at my new home, and just recently realized I'm an idiot and that'd it be much, much easier for me to start the new tank from scratch. So, everything on my old tank has to go.

There's a small discount if you buy the whole thing, but honestly, it'd probably be easier for me if I parted it out.

Here's what's worth buying. Things with $5 prices are really just to pay for my time and trouble of driving to the old house. :)

Yellow tang: $5
Huma huma: $5
Bicolor angelfish: $5
Blue Koran angelfish: $5
Coralife Super Skimmer (I *think* 125 gallons, will verify soon): $20 *
Approximately 80 lbs. of live rock: $150
55 gallon Tank + Stand: $60

Whole system: $200

* - sometimes the skimmer's chamber doesn't fill with the tiny bubbles like it should. it still seems to skim though, or at least it removes the film from the top of the tank. I'm not really sure what the deal is with that.

Pictures will be coming in the next couple days. Post here or send a PM if you're interested in the meantime.

Also, please note that I belong to the Lucky Saltwater Tank Keeper's Club, as this system has amazingly never given me even the slightest bit of trouble. Everything is 100% disease-free.

I'm still replying to the many PM's. The fish were all claimed pretty quick... if you haven't gotten a PM yet, I'm getting to yours, but it'll be a "sorry, the fish was claimed" message.

Other than the fish, erikharrison will have first crack at the tank/stand and skimmer when I get pictures up tomorrow. If he's not interested, I'll go down the list in the order the post was made or I was PM'ed.

The only thing left completely unclaimed is the live rock. Any takers? I'd love to have everything gone by this weekend (the tank is the only thing left at my old house, I loved a month ago), so how about $100 for all the live rock? Or if not that, I'll sell whatever pieces you want for $1/lb.

Update:

This evening the yellow tang and some of the live rock are being picked up, and the blue koran angelfish goes tomorrow. I'm still waiting on final word for the bicolor angelfish.

I'll take and post pics of the tank, skimmer, and everything that's left tonight. Almost everything's been claimed, subject to pictures and final arrangements.

Free Huma Huma! (Picasso triggerfish)

The first claim on the huma huma didn't go through because he wasn't aware the fish wasn't reef-safe. So I started going through my million PM's to see who responded next, and lo and behold, everyone was asking for the BK angelfish, the bicolor angelfish, the tang, all three, or some combination of them.... nobody wants poor Hummer. I guess Trigger's don't have the greatest reputation.

Poor Hummer needs a home... anybody out there with a non-reef tank that wants him? He's totally free to anybody who can come this evening at 6-7pm, or tomorrow evening around 6pm. He's a great fish, definitely the most peaceful of the triggers... he's never attacked any of my other fish. I got him around a year and a half ago when he was a baby, and he's now the size of a full potato chip. Or so. He looks exactly like the ones in the link below.

More about him: http://animal-world.com/encyclo/marine/triggers/picasso.php

Post here if interested, then follow-up with a PM.

Thanks to you all, I hope they work well.

I have someone coming to take about 40 lbs. more LR on Saturday, which will leave me with 35 lbs. remaining. I was looking through my LR PM's and nobody really seemed to fit what I'll have left. I'll probably have 3-4 pieces, mostly larger pieces. Anybody looking for larger pieces of live rock? If so, PM me... still $1/lb.

As for the pictures... I forgot my camera. :blushing: I'll have pictures on Saturday, *guar-an-teed*.

So I sold off most of this, and then I tried to get in touch with some people who'd PM'ed me and things kind of fell through (most of it being my fault, I should have been more timely in my replies). And thus the tank/stand/canopy and the skimmer have been sitting in my old garage, untouched and unclean.

I'm really lazy and have decided I'd love to not clean these things up, or worry about parting things out, or anything at all. My apologies to the many people who had PM'ed me previously. So now, the price is $100 for the tank/stand/canopy and skimmer. Pictures can be seen in the link below. First person to post here (not PM!) and say "Yes Drzy, I can pick that up tomorrow around 5:30pm from your home near the intersection of Bandera and Guilbeau, and I will pay with cash! I do indeed have a truck or super-large vehicle that can fit everything in one trip." gets it.

Please note that the items will not be cleaned! It looks cleaner than the pictures show, but obviously that's not saying much. The stand was painted black originally and could use another coat of paint.

Pictures: http://drzys.com/temp/tank/index.html

Basic info: 55 gallon tank, black stand and canopy with wood trim on canopy. Coralife Super Skimmer, I think rated for 120 gallons or so... I'll check my paperwork when I get home.

Yes Drzy, I can pick that up tomorrow around 5:30pm from your home near the intersection of Bandera and Guilbeau, and I will pay with cash! I do indeed have a truck that can fit everything in one trip. I live right down the road at tezel and guilbeau so if this time is not good for you let me know as with given enough notice I can be there in a few mins. Does the tank come with the rock and the sand that are in the picture?
