I was just in Pets are Us getting some food for Leo (principal's lionfish) and Justin was telling me about the 2nd aniverary sale coming up Feb 1-3. He says lots of stuff coming in, awesome prices and lot of stuff being given away. He is located on Culebra outside the loop about a mile and a half on the left by Sonic.

"$7 clown fish," he said, "just to give an idea of the prices."

I think the give aways are going to be all types of pet stuff, though.

This weekend is the 2 yr anniverary sale at Pets R Us. lots of salt water fish at super prices. here is a preview. Salt at 29.00 a bucket if I remember right.

I got there at about 11 and all the Instant Ocean salt was gone and no bi-color angels....so I left with a bucket of Oceanic...not bad...$35 for a 200 gallon bucket.

I didn't have the coupon, but he did give it to me $5 off....the sticker on that salt said 39.99..

I have made 2 trips in 2 days. I picked up the scopus, an o clown, green clown goby, banded shrimp goby, 6 neons, 2 tetras, 6 fancy guppies, 2 dog beds, a bottle of purple up, 5 blue leg shrimp, and 3 cone snails. I almost got the sand star, the yellow watchman, and some cleaner wrasse they had, but I decide to wait. Oh, my 2 day total was 86 bucks!!

A conservative estimate after adding up some web prices, would put me in the 160-70 ballpark for all this.

Pretty good deals if you ask me. Only the scopus hit double digits at a wopping 15 dollars.

Justin mentioned to me this evening that he is ironing out the details of becoming a MAAST sponsor, aaaaaannnnnndddd, they are going to be doinig 25% tuesdays, as well as this type of sell on 2 or 3 of the following weekends. Awesome, I need a bigger tank.

Oh, and who bought the powder blue I so dearly wanted for the 32 dollar sell price?
