Nice Tank!!! Hope this ones gives you less problems!!!

Thanks, ME TOO!!!

Actually it was the same tank that I had problems with. I just had to start over with my acro collection about 1.5 years ago.

I had a really bad AEFW problem, this was back when this pest was just being discovered and wasn't really a widespread problem. During the treatment of these pests, I lost all my acros at the time, after about 2 years or so of collecting.

I have not posted this pic before, it makes me cry every time I see it.

But, here is the devastation, all acro's GONE. Some big colonies, LE's, and my favorite big efflo.

This hobby has some major up's and downs. I did not collect or add any acro's for about 8 months. After the disastor all I had left were the non-acro SPS's. That's why you see the caps, stylos, and pocci's are much bigger in my pics.

Thought I would bring this thread back to life for a little while.

Got a new skimmer that's a little more energy effecient.

I love this skimmer, seems to get better & better as the months go along. Been running it for about 2 months now. Has made my electric bill go down a little as well.

Nice skimmer I really like the idea of using the Dart as a needle wheel, very efficient!

It works great, I have it plumbed directly from one of the overflow drains, then it dumps into the sump. It only draws about 120 watts.
