Hi everyone just wanted to give a heads up on how the software works with memberships. Its a little different than it was before, here is a quick run down:


Membership lasts for one full year from the date of sign-up
Software will send you an expire notice so that you know when your membership has expired

I was wondering what date my charter membership will be dated at. I signed up at the last meeting in Austin, and have not recieved my card and am still showing up with the general membership title. I know and understand these things take time. Not that I am hurring you all up, but I was just wondering if it takes 1-3 weeks to make me a charter member, will you extend my membership out 1-3 weeks also?:confused: I ask this because I joined at the meeting which is the day after my birthday, making it easier to remember when to renew my membership.:lightbulb: Yeah I am weird like that.:wink_smile: By the way the MAAST society seems to be a great bunch of people.

We only have one person that we haven't been able to get a hold of in order to find his username it may be you? Is your name Sean Wedige?
If not I will have the Treasurer look further into the subject. Your membership will start from the day that I set you up as Charter so don't worry you won't lose anytime, and sorry for the mix up.

Hey thanks for the response. That individual Sean is not me. I sent you a PM with my contact information. I was the guy traveling from Belton with a natural tan, who convinced the wife and 2 kids to come along for the meeting. Hope that description rings a bell. I paid with one check, but put both the charter membership dues with an extra 10 dollars for 6 door prize tickets together. May be that is where the confusion is with the payment and membership. I also wrote my contact information on a piece of paper and gave it to the ticket sales person. Finally I was also the person asking questions about ca and Kalk after the meeting. Oh yeah and I won a raffel prize. :) That definatly made the long drive up worth it, and I was not even upset at the extra 45 mins traffic i got stuck in to get back home. Thanks for the pizza and soda that helped me out bunches while in traffic. By the way where and when is the next meeting? :p

Just sent my paypal membership dues in to treasurer at MAAST. There wasn't anything in the way of confirming my log in name but I can verify the surname if you like.

The treasurer doesnt change it, the web site admin does. I will pass the info along. Give it a day or two.

Once the paypal payment clears, the treasurer (Sherri) will contact the admin (greenmako aka Brian) and he should hook you up.

Yes once the membership is processed, you will receive a letter in the mail with a membership card.

Just waned to leave you some feedback. I tried to do an online membership in the and had some difficulty. I just used the PayPal membership option. Seamless transaction, and immediate access to the member's functions on this forum. Makes it easy to support the forum. My compliments.

There is a short delay in getting your title changed over. We have to physically go check PayPal for clearance then go back in and update manually.
