Is it odd for a clown that has no anemone to bond with a thermometer?? he will not leave the top of the tank and it i take it out he goes nuts attacking the glass on top and the wall :what_smile::what_smile:

I don't think it is bonding with it, moreso using it as a place to hide. My clowns hid right next to my Koralia until they started to host in my RBTA.

Clowns will pick all kinds of things to host. One of my clowns does the same thing with my mag float if I move it he moves to it.

That's why they get their name. They do odd things. Mine used to sleep vertically against the overflow head down.
