Sue Truetts Cap

I got 2 peices of "Sue Truetts Cap." about a year ago from who I recall was TexasTodd right before he sold his setup (superbowl time fragoramma?)? Ace bought his huge set up, I dont recall his name though.... Anyhow, this is supposed to be the real thing, and has grown to where I need to trim it some.It is flourescent purple on the rim and a greenish color in the center. I am asking $10 per a 1"x1" piece. I can make a deal for slightly larger pieces, as I will break it off when you come and pick it up. Un mounted. Pm me if interested, I am home all this week except for Friday...

It looks alot like my Tim Marvin cap which was a Jim Norris cap before that. Do you know if it is the same piece?

No, I dont know...Sue Truett is some "knowledgeable" saltwater aquarist that had gotten some frags from somewhere of this cap... hence the Sue Truett namesake, as I was told (you supposedly cannot get this anywhere??..). You can google her name to find out more info, and if any Maastard knows something please chime in! My phone/camera does not do this thing justice, as I really hate to crop it at all.

Hi. It's a cap from Sue's tank in Houston. Sue is one of the featured people in Mike Paletta's "Ultimate Aquariums" book. I wouldn't call it a named coral, just a nice one that came from Sue's tank. It does have nice color and grows in a cool shape.
