What is the best store in Austin for inverts?

As the title says, I need some inverts. And would like to get them this weekend.

I’m looking for the following.

Horseshoe Crabs
Emerald Crabs
Queen Conch
Fighting Conch
Sand Sifting Sea Star or Starfish
And maybe some fish….cant go to a fish store and not get a fish….well I can’t.

So if you know a store that has them or think they might, can you please list the name.

Just FYI, unless you have a LOT of open space, the Horshoe Crab is a bad idea, will outgrow the tank and needs a LOT of area to feed and a very rich sandbed. Ditto on Queen Conch.

On the rest it is usually just a hit or miss kind of thing as most stores have them at some point. Most will also add them to the next order if you ask and if you go get them while they are still in orginal shipping bag some will give you a price break.

I am in Georgetown and would like to see your system some time since you aren't that far away. Invite also goes the other way, feel free to drop by some time on your way to Austin.

just remeber when emerald crabs are looking for food they can move corals and flip them over im not 100 percent sure about this but i have heard this before

We got in a ton of emeralds for tomorrow, and there's quite a variety of starfish in as well. This has got to be one of the most AMAZING orders we have gotten in a long time. There a lot of really nice acros and great coral and fish.

aquadome has it all he has what has to be the biggest hermit crabs i have ever seen they can eat a small dog they are so big. he gets his shipments on monday when they are closed so tuesday his store is filled with the best and cheapest stock around. his prices beat saltwaterfish.com marinedepot live aquaria etc and the stock i have gotten has always been healthy (disclaimer: not all of the stock is in tip top shape) but i have been pleased with what i have gotten from them.

hey everyone, just wanted to let yall know what i got. I went to river city on Sat, and got a couple things. i did end up getting fishs, one regal hippo tang, two clowns(false ones) 4 emerald crabs, a green starfish, and one flaming scallop. I did get there later in the day and it was still very buzy. But the people were very nice and it was cool that the first time i hit a LFS they were having sale. Everything made the trip okay and is still doing great. The only thing that sucks is right when i put the clam in the tank he desited to move to one one place i cant see him and stayed there. So what did everyone else get?

i got snails hermits and 2 flame scallops and whatever you do do not move the scollap make sure he gets phytoplankton and maybe zooplankton

Ya i didn get some phyto when i was there....im just a little sad i cant see the silly thing..and with my rocks the way they are i dont think i could get to him without taking everything out..oh well such is life i guess..
