Bak Pak 2 Question

Okay i just bought the cpr Bak-Pak 2 like 4 days ago it keeps my water really really clean and its quite but the bubbles in my tank drive me nuts does anyone have any experience with this and if so can i see some pics and get some info on what you did(I'm on a very tight budget right now) Thanks

The bubble trap doesn't work all that well. You will probably get the same results using one of the d.i.y. methods.

Okay should i put some sponge or something under my biobale or what ?? it did not come with a sponge but i don't know

Yup... I would also try purging the skimmer, by that I mean, put one hand over the return and allow the water level in the skimmer to rise almost to the top then release, this will force any bubbles that are trapped in the return to blow out. you may have to do this several times but it might help, also, if the skimmers new it will take a week or so to break in...

another question is I get a killer amount of skim mate with this skimmer but i woke for the past few mornings and found that the bottom of the collection cup is covered in foam on the out side too up on the lil funnle thing is this supposed to happen ??
