Dustin's Deepwater Acro

ORA proudly announces the availability of a magnificent new coral, named after the founder of the coral program, Dustin Dorton. We have been working on this coral since 2003 when our parent colony was shipped from Bali. Dustin’s Deepwater Acro has an iridescent dark greenish-purple base. The branches are smooth with very few corallites. The long and slender tip is purplish-blue in color. We think this coral is most similar to A. suhasonoi, but please correct us if we’re wrong.

i may have seen one at macna. they had a small coral that fit that description that they said would be available soon, but they had not confirmed a name at that time. i tried to talk em into selling it, but no luck :)

Well they have 50 available on the most recent stocklist. So they should be showing up in stores fairly soon.

They also say they will have six more new species available in the next few months.

I know they just built a new 5000 sq/ft coral prop greenhouse so we might get to see a lot more cool stuff from them down the road.

I own a store and order from ORA.I get their frags and get alot of Picasso clowns to from them.
ORA has alot of new frags coming out in the next few months so keep a watch for them.

That second one looks just like one i have,, mine is starting to get a purple base as well
