id on red thing?

Was also wondering about those white "strands" that are popping up everywhere, you can make them out a bit on my back glass in the pic

looks like dragons breath macroalgae
white strands... not sure

Yep, Dragons Breath. It's attractive and doesn't get out of control, some fish love to eat it and it improves water quality. It's a keeper as long as it doesn't shade your coral. Mine drifts free, so I just move it out of the way.

White strands may be small cluster dusters. See if you can see a small rust red or white color fuzzy on one end.
