Hello,
This leather has grown alot, in a short time..was wondering if i can frag it off. A LFS owner told me to cut a piece off from anywhere and zip tie it to something and then it would attach itself..is this right?
thank youhttp://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc47/bigmoe21/DSC02792.jpg

Yes, you can cut a piece off the leather and use a zip tie, bridal veil, rubber band, fishing line, or something similar to 'tie' it to a rock. It will take time to attach and may work itself loose, so keep an eye on the frag. HTH.

be ready to frag often; You have two of them and they grow quickly. I just traded mine in for a fish because it was way to big for my BC29. If it touches another coral it will irritate it and can foul the tank.

usually a couple of days, sometimes less, sometimes more. Depends on how irritated the coral is. Are you running carbon?

You could get one of those disposable little plastic tubs and cut some vent holes in it and use it, with the lid of course, to keep them in a confined area so frags don't take off and hide on you.

Cut a triangled wedge, act as if you were cutting a pizza. From the disc/head of the leather
