WTB external pump [Archive]

My Iwaki 20rlxt return pump was acting up so I took it apart to clean it and found most of the teeth on the impeller broken off. It will cost me $50 plus shipping to get a new impeller and as I have been thinking of finding a bigger pump I wanted to see if anyone had a pump they would like to sell.

I'm looking for an external pump in decent/good condition that is around 750 to 1200gph. Hit me up if you have one, thanks.

i have a little giant that will do 1200 gallons. its fan cooled. excepts 1" inlet/outlet. its too big for my return. think im going to get a mak 3 or an iwaki 40rlt. it'll let it go for 75 bucks. its in good condition. just don't wanna have to listen to my overflow fart as the pump max's my 1" drain. LMK fast cause i'll order a new pump if your down.

Thanks Kurt, but I'll pass. I've never been a big fan of the Little Giant pumps.

You might check here http://www.aquariumhardware.com they have the pump below for 180.00 and their shipping is rather cheap. I have some of their other pumps and they work great.

ya, im not a huge fan of the little giant pumps either. i think i'll give this one a shot becuase its fan cooled.
