Wow, kind of short notice for an election meeting!

this isn't an election meeting its just a get togather at Steve's house.

as far as elections go there isn't going to be any if we don't get more candidates as of now we are 4 short of even having a full BOD.

That stinks, I propose Membership card = Draft card. Or we could do it like jury duty members get called in at random to vote. Just kidding. Wish i could run, but it would be a conflict of intrest. Maybe I can put the word out to some of my customer/members.

I will not be able to make this one. I will be out of town until 9 December as of this Thursday (29 Dec). Really wanted to see Steve's setup also. Guess I'll just have to go later and raid his tanks.

I'm looking forward to the meeting but with all the changes lately to my tank, it's not. It's gonna be a good meeting and the food should be excellent. Be prepared for a Meal and some good info and conversation.

Since this will be my first... what goes on at these meetings? I know there's usually a sort of special event (this time it's Carlos from River City), and I take it the rest of it is just a typical get-together where people may or may not talk fish?

Will robes or paddles be involved?

Super turn-out for the meeting. It was nice to be able to open our home to everyone. Carlos, KUDOS. A very good and informative talk. It's nice to have this kind of information, especially with the influx of newbies we are receiving. We thank you for your support. Thanks for all the new members. We welcome you with open arms. I hope no one left hungry.

Thanks Steve and Shari for opening their home to all of us. They really out did themselves. Tons of good food & desserts. Carlos, thank you for making the trip down from Austin...much appreciated and interesting. It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting the new. Glad everyone got together before Holiday season sets in.
