For a tang to get jealous of a new fish introduced into an aquarium? The reason I'm asking is because I've got a scopas tang, and I just introduced a sailfin tang today. My cleaner wrasse went straight to the sailfin, and now everytime it tries to clean the scopas, the scopas doesn't let it. It'll move up to the cleaner and signal out like it wants to be cleaned and then it will dart away. It also goes and throws it's tail into the face of the sailfin, like it's trying to tell it, that it's the boss. They aren't fighting just acting kind of weird.

Most fish are very territorial, if the one hasn’t try to kill the other then you are very lucky and they should settle down soon.

Typical "new tang" introduction.

yep, very normal. Sometimes it doesnt happen if the tangs have completely diffrent body shapes. For example Yellow tang going in with a Blue hippo. Most importantly they should have enough room to get away from one another; rearranging rock work although tedious will help a lot.

They finally settled down, and now they both seem to follow my foxface all over the aquarium. Wherever it goes, they go, and if they seperate from it, those two stay together as well. It is kind of weird behavior for tangs.....

nope, Look at pictures of others aquariums and you will see that tangs schoal all the time not matter what species. My Blue Hippo and Fox face are inseperatable.
