well i just got a used tank an stand, the silicone or watever is kinda falling off is there something special i can use to seal that up? or will regular home depot silicone work? i was told the tank has no leaks but i would rather reseal it while there is no water in it instead of later on down the road having to empty the water out and seal it, any help would be great thanks!

link didnt work for me...but just use silicon II it will work great. Make sure you clean out the edges very well thouh and wipe it down with alcohol or it wont stick.

i've always used 2 on my vivariums and 1 on my saltwater projects. they both seem to work fine. just make sure you clean the surface really well before application.

Jeremy at B&B could probably help you as well as Felipe at FA. I would try to go through our sponsors first, but hey, that's just me!

I think the only place (other than maybe personal folks) in town that actually does do resealing might be Forever Pets. They build aquariums under the name Aquatrend Designs. There will definitely be a mixed review of their business if you ask. Toy is not the easiest person to communicate with so that itself is a little tough. I can say that I had a 180 drilled with four holes at one point at that location and they did an outstanding job on my tank. The holes were some of the cleanest I had seen. Just beware that he can be a difficult person to communicate and deal with at times.

felipe does it. if you are gonna use clear, use silicone I, and make sure it does not say "mold resistant"

Didn't realize Felipe did reseals. I'd definitely give him a call then.

Ive had two big tanks resealed by them (forever Pets on Basse) with no problems they were done when they said they were going to be , Good job in my opinion.
