Ok, I have looked, albeit briefly, for a thread about the magnetic mounts for powerheads. I could not find any threads. My problem is a familiar one...came home from work to find a large sand mountain in the middle of my tank with my powerhead lying on the bottom creating a reverse-avalanche.
Yes, the suction cups have failed me for the last time. If any of you know where to get these magnetic bases, please call me, TONIGHT!!! 210-842-1842. I really need to end this problem. My pump is a Maxi-Jet 1200. Thanks for RESPONDING! I would very much like to get one tonight, if possible.

yep Marine depot. Or... you can take a algae scrapper and silicon it to the maxijet. I do this for modded jets and they work great. I go to petsco or petsmart and buy one for $10.00 silicon the heck out of it and it has been holding for 11 months now.
