For sale is a 265g (84x24x30) glass tank and stand. Single overflow drilled for 2x1.5" and 1x1" bulkheads, Euro-braced, and drilled for a closed loop. I picked this up from a MARSH member in Houston a couple of months ago. After cleaning it up we discovered some scratches in the glass. I have owned and seen worse, but as this is going to very visible in the house we want it to be perfect. I have decided to go with a new tank so this one has got to go.

I have filled the tank with 6" of water and no leaks for 48 hours. I have not filled completely to test, but from the cleanup we did looks like it should be good.

I have removed the skins and doors from the stand to refinish, but haven't got to that point yet so it will need to be refinished and/or reassembled.

Asking $500 or best offer to make up for the money I spent on it.

Here are the pics...

Honestly, they all are a little scratched. Looks like there may have been sand in a Magfloat or something. There is one larger one on the front that may have came from a rock move or similar. Most friends that have looked at it don't even see the scratches until I point them out. I wanted to use this for a reef setup and the scratches would bug me, but I am pretty picky when it comes to stuff like that. I have seen other tanks that are more scratched than this one.

Let me try and get some pictures and see if they show up...

Here is the best I can do to get a shot of the worst of the scratches on the front panel. Looking at the tank I also remembered there is a small chip in the top right of the front panel - the flash makes it look worse than it really is. Pictured below
