well, thanks to that little video posted in the lounge this week, i decided to put a webcam in my tank. i built an acrylic box to house mine so it would look a little more professional.

before putting it in the tank - actually had to cut it down a bit after this pic because of the tank's eurobracing

video is kind of choppy is it a 30fps camera? I think the idea is great but the camera is low quality... but I can understand that the first webcam you want to put in water isn't a nice one lol....

the video was better, once i uploaded to photobucket, the quality decreased. it isnt a great camera, but i think it will work well once i figure out the live broadcast thing.

because problem setting up live feed is port # find out what port # you are broadcasting at then allow acess to that port on your router and also use your real ip addy you can get from

yeah, i was trying to set it up thru a web page that way there is only one feed going from my computer thru the router and to the webpage. trying to keep from bogging down my home lan to much. if i cant get that to work, i will have to do it the way you suggested.
