Ok folks, its getting to be that time of year again, time to vote for your favorite Tank Of The Month for the 2007 MAAST TANK OF THE YEAR!!! So far, we have over $900 worth of offerings from our very generous MAAST sponsors and possibly more to come!! Im not sure how its going to work this year what with the new software. Last year we posted the current totm winners and the >>CHARTER<< members would PM either myself or another committee member with their vote, we may end up doing it the same way this year, not sure yet but Ill be sure to let everyone know the details. Remember, only current active charter members are eligible to vote and only one vote per member and yes you can vote for yourself. So keep your eyes peeled for more information soon, the voting will most likely be held towards the end of December.... GOOD LUCK!

This is AMAZING and I haven't seen anything like it on other forums! Kinda makes me wish I'd had something to submit for this year. If this doesn't get people off the duffs to submit their tanks, then....really a "No-brainer"!

Ok, this is how its gonna work, first off, there will be no poll , LINKS to the previous months winners will be posted on November 25th, the charter members will review the links, make a decision and PM dedicated totm committee members with their vote, please put your vote in the subject line, voting will close November 29th at midnight, NO EXCEPTIONS! the winner will be decided on the 30th and announced on December 1st, simple, just like last year, There will be no totm for December... If you have any questions or concerns, please dont hesitate to pm me or post here...

Just to recap so there is no more confusion. The December tank IS the tank of the Year, it is chosen from the 11 TOTM winners. Like Jim said, if you have submitted, it will roll over to the next month, so you didn't do all that work for nothing.

Remember everyone, if you want to win TOTY next year, make sure to submit your entry so we can all see the hard work you have done

Im temporarily suspending any potential submissions for '08, it seems that there may be a problem with the "submit for tank of the month" link because of the new software, I'll let you all know as soon as we get it figured out, thanks for your patience...

From what I can gather. Submittions for December's TOTM will roll over to January. So then the person picked will have a shot at next years TOTY.

Not too bad cause the prize for TOTY seems to double every year. Good Job TOTM/TOTY commitee! I'm gonna have to get a tank all pretty now and see if I can win that prize.

That is a good idea, I'll make an effort to do that from now on. However, I cannot confirm something that I did not receive and I have not received any submission from you. We (the committee) are as puzzled as you are as to why we did not receive it. As Jim said, there are still issues with the new software. Brian has been working to correct them. If you would kindly resubmit, I will confirm receipt when I get it.

I suggest that if you plan to do a write-up for totm, be sure to copy it for right now so it doesnt get lost, at least until we're able to work out the bugs.... Its a lot of work and I dont want you to have to do it over....
