It is about time to stock my tank.
Who is a good dealer in San Antonio who sells healthy livestock cheap?
When I say livestock I mean small hermit crabs, snails, and small fish.
Thanks.

That's a loaded question, lol. :) IMHO B&B has great deals on clean up crews. Blue legs for .79

Agree with Erik, you will get mixed answers with that question. Check out Phenominal Aquatics and Aquarium Designs to start. There is a pets store listing on the board you can use to find the locations and nubmers.

I think the best answer is to find out for yourself. Pick a day and find out the locations of the LFS in town. Plan a LFS Tour and scope out what each store has. Also talk to the owner/employees of each (most are outgoing) and see what they normally stock but are out of that day. Usually you will find better prices on certain items at one store but not the other. Conversely, that other store will have better prices on other live stock. Best thing is be an educated buyer.

Ditto the above. We all have our favorites, but it's best to develop your own. If you go to the sponsors page, visit each of them - there are no BAD ones.

yea i would say aquarium designs, or wolf reef would be your best bet or wolf reef those are the only stores i vist in san antonio (not that often) when it comes to the cheapest livestock in central texas... its not one of our sponsors Austin Aquadome gary has more livestock than anyone and prices that saltwaterfish.com cant even beat but if you are sponsor loyal then i have to say RCA in austin

I would say buy local if possible and if you need just a few critters, but if you can get a few people together for group buys, reeftopia.com is the best place for cleanup crews

clean up crew isn't a big issue, but a word of advice: Be very careful buying your livestock based on price alone. Make sure the quality is as good as possible. You can spend 9.99 over and over again on cheap fish from a place that only cares about making a buck, or you can spend 15.99 once on a healthy fish from a reputable LFS!

Thanks for all the responses!
Great ideas all around.
I think I'll head over to B&B. I'm new to saltwater and have only been the CB pets and Wolf Reef once, and Alamo Aquatics a few years ago for freshwater. I usually go to Red Crest pet shop because of location.
I'm going to check out B&B for clean up crew and AD for fish.
Thanks

What is B&B? I have been to Wolf Reef, Alamo, Texas Tropical, Aqurium Designs, and Pets R Us. In my opinion Wolf is the cheapest, and AD is the coolest. I am very interested in this B&B place though, can someone give ma an address?

He is still not fully operational, but he does have fish/corals/inverts in. There is just a little bit left to get it all up and running!!
