engwife36 went over to the house yesterday and said i am having a bad majano problem and was wondering if there is a chemical or a fish that would reduce the numbers in the tank. i know Joe's Juice works but i was wondering if there was anything else.

I found this post on another website. I dont' know if it will work, but you wouldn't have to use kalk or some other chemical in your tank.
"...boil some RO water (rather than tap water), and suck this up into a syringe. Injecting each majano with boiling water allowed me to scrape them off one by one with a dental tool. Some were siphoned out with thin flexible tubing ..."

I actually like the things. I let them spread a bit until one day it seemed like they were taking over. I made up a thick paste of kalk using cheap pickling lime. I used a large syringe to smear it directly into the open tentacles and then I smeared it all over the body. Within a week I had cut them down by 75%. I still leave a few because I like them.

I used Joe's juice seemed to work ok. I then just started taking some Alkaline buffer and injected a high concentration into them. Seemed to work ok also.

Blue Vet Rx "Aiptasia Control." Probably similar to what Mike mentioned. VERY think stuff, comes with a syringe. One drop right on top and that is the last you will see of them. I had one irritating some zoas that I could not really move, so I treated anyway expecting to lose a couple. Didn't happen. Best stuff I have seen. As for aiptasia, go in slow so they don't retract, let them wrap the syringe up, the drop it on them. It's so thick you can't inject it like lemon juice.
I picked mine up from Carlos at RCA, not sure about other stores in town (Austin).

I have them in my 210g on my rock and actually think they look kind of cool. I do have a FOWLR though and dont have to worry about corals. I use Joes Juice for Aiptasia in my reef though and its great.

yeah, I had em too. They actually look kinda cool unlike aptasia but then they take over like a California wildfire.
When I decided it was time to go I used Joe's Juice and that stuff killed em faster than aptasia
