Does anybody have or know where I can get the wrench to remove the filter housing from a DI System? I was trying to remove the housing for my DI filter and my wrench snapped and now I can't get it off. I need one asap so I can make some water. Thanks for the help. This is what I'm looking for.

You can check lowes I think they sell them there. That is where I got the rubber gasket for my housing. Or you may be able to use something like an oil filter wrench for a car if you had to.

a strap wrench should work, or you could wrap a towel around the canister to increase leverage and use your muscles

I use an adjustable oil filter wrench. Works great.

In a pinch you can use an adjustable clamp if you have one to loosen it.

Thanks for the input guys!!! I used my "muscles" as Ace suggested. And finally got it off and also ended up with some scrapped knuckles!!!! LOL !!!

You might want to lubricate that o-ring...

Be careful not to over tighten the housing, if you do, you might break the thin lip that holds the o ring in place, hand tight is plenty.

If you have to tighten more than by hand, may be time for a new oring.
