In general, what is the price per gallon for a used tank glass and acrilic ?

Thanks Barry

Depends on how bad you want it or how fast you need it gone. Price varies I have several I am trying to sell at $1.00 a gallon a little more if it is drilled and a bulkhead installed. Hope this helps Barry.

Very cheap if you check with CB Pets in time. Otherwise what David said is probably fairly close to right.

Also depends on condition, age, brand, etc..... For example Id probably pay more for a used oceanic 125g versus a Perfecto brand 125g. And if its drilled or RR then its worth more. So there really isnt a $$ per gallon rule. To many things to take into consideration when buying.

Ditto what Ray says. I certainly wouldn't buy a tank of 100 gallons or more if it was an inexpensive brand. My All-glass 55 scares me enough...

Also how bad a person is wanting to get rid of one.

i think acrylic tends to cost a little more as long as there are no scratches.

Also depends on what it comes with. Used tanks usually come with stand and other goodies. There is a 135g reef-ready tank that just popped up in the for sale forum and it comes out to $5.19/gallon, but that includes the halide and VHO lighting, and a sump.

There's a sweet setup on the for sale forums right now for a 135 complete setup.

You may want to PM either Ace or Matt. They can probably both lead you in the right direction, as long as the scratches aren't too deep.
