OK, I found a steal for a 210 locally and am going to upgrade from a 150.

Currently I am running a closed loop with 2 Hydor K4's inside the tank and the closed loop run by a Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC. Not sure what my gallons per hour are running through the system based upon my plumbing but it seems like it may be at the max so am figuring I need to upgrade my return pump to go to the 210 gallon.

Anyone have any good quality recommendations and something that will be QUIET :-) as well as improve flow????

Also, would a 3rd or 4th Hydor K4 be a good idea? No SPS, just softies, caps, Monti's etc...

Little Giant specs:
4-MDQX-SC 17.0 ft 1225 1080 675 1" 1" 145

I have three #4s in my 75 gallon. I was running one at night but as of recent I have been keeping them all on during the day. TBH, it's perfect IMHO. I have a couple of puffers, and neither of them have any trouble swimming around. The tangs LOVE it. I will however say this about the Koralias. Their dispersion is so great that after a couple of feet, they lose alot of force. In a large tank such as the one that you have and the one you are getting, a good locline setup should out perform the Koralias. I have one in the front corner right side, back corner left, and back middle, almost on the sand pointed up as far up as it will go. For softies, a CL may be more overkill than my 3 #4s. :)

Good idea on the ocline set ups.

I tried dual Locline outputs on my current 150 but splitting the flow is too much for this current Little Giant to keep enough flow so I imagine it would be even worse going to a bigger tank.

Sequence Dart, very quiet. This would work great for your closed loop pump for that size tank. Another fairly quit pump is the Dolphin Ampmaster.
