i wanted to add more flow to my tank. Its a 110 show tank.so far ive got a coralife 1090 for return.the return tees off to 2 diffrent bulkheads. I was thinking about cutting the tee off and making my return form sump go to one single bulkhead and using the other bulkhead as a closed loop.If i went that way i would do the return plumbing above water level so that the pvc wouldnt be seen, and add two revolutions, cause i would tee off the close loop plumbing.
Or do ya'll think i should leave it the way it is,(the way its plumbed) and add a hydro korlia 3 on top of my modded 1200.
i need your opinion.
maybe pictures of your closed loop.
the 2 yellow areas are where the returns are located.

110's can be difficult to get great flow in due to the shape/height. Personally I would leave it like it is and add the Hydor with plans to add a second one after that.

I have 3 #4s in my 75g. I use two of them during the day, and the other at night. You would be suprised, the flow is very strong, but disperses quickly because of the width of the flow pattern. I would put a couple in there and sell your MJ mod :)
I wouldn't use anything smaller than a #4 in a 100g + tank due to the dispersion. Even my large puffer likes it!

I have a tunze with the decorative rock and I love it. You don't even notice it and it gives great flow, but might be to much for your system.

thanks guys i think ive made up my mind, but if i did go with the hydor how would i set it up,because richards right it is kinda hard to get the flow into some certin spots, the 2 rear corners and around the mid section of the back.

It's ugly but you could put the hydors in the two front corners aiming back. That is the way mine is set up and I have NO dead spots.
