What's the best all in one nano?

I am new to saltwater and am prepared the purchase the aquapod 24 gallon with PC lighting. The main reason to this post is to ask, is there anything better out there? Please nothing out of the range of $250 or near that, I don't have a lot of money to spent on an aquarium.

I want an all in one nano, everything built in, just like the aquapod.

Is there something better? Say a nano-cube, bio-cube, or something else? The cheaper the better, thanks.

Oh and if you do post one please post a store in San Antonio that sells them if you can, the cheaper to Boerne the better.

Yeah.
That's who I think I'm going to buy from.

But I don't want to buy it and find out a week later there was a much better solution for me.

What model of the aquapod do you have, do you have the PC version?
What all do you keep in yours, and how hard is it to maintain?
Do you run a skimmer on your tank? If so which one?
Do you have any advice on this tank for a beginner?

The aquapod is good, but it needs a few mods. Get the hqi not the pc.

Just put a bigger return pump. I use the two pc bulbs. I just bought an HQI light. I keep zoas,shrooms,a bubble tip. Simple to keep no skimmer but water changes done regular. ch

Check out River city aquariums in Austin. I think they can beat the internet price on that tank.

I'd recommend the JBJ nanocubes for only one reason, they have such a loyal following it is unreal the amount of quick upgrades that you can perform. The others are nice, I've heard some nice things about the Red Sea 29g ( a lot more expensive though), but hands down JBJ started all of this. The company is designing equipment for the other brands but as you'll see it's about a 4/1 ratio in favor of JBJ.

They all have good and bad points to them. I have the bio-cube 29 and love it, I also ran it for 6 months with no mods to it at all. Everything is still alive and healthy. A good friend of mine has the JBJ and an aquapod, he likes both of them. My advice is find the one you can get the deal and price you are comfortable with and be ready for the inevitable desire to upgrade. Aquarium designs @ 281 and Brook Hollow carries a couple of different nanos in stock (210-495-7333)

I would see about getting it locally. There are alot of instances where the pods come in cracked from shipping. I vote for the nanocube as well

I found it at aquarium designs, but for $60 more.

What is so great about the nano-cube? I think the aquapod looks nicer altogether.
Where would you go about getting a nano cube, what size is best, and how much do they cost? A link to the one you are all talking about would be great.
