Get a job in a bar, or night club. It's perfect for students, and if you get in at a good place you can make alot of money. My wife and I are both bartenders, and we average between $1000 to $1200 (cash) a week combined. I only work 3 nights a week, and she only works 2.

I host Karaoke...:-) and I sell togo drinks on the river walk. But both of these things are seasonal. so... :-)

i am a dj but wedding season is starting to end. i also used to host karaoke at bennigans at i-10 and wurzbach on sat. if i bartend, i would only be able to work after 10:30 during the week or on the weekends.

Many places book Karaoke as a summer thing...and then drop it when the summer is over. Also, some bars can't aford to pay the entertainment in the winter...so naturally karaoke suffers there too. If I need a new kj Ill let you know. (marcus)
