My tank; actually a specific rock has hair algae growing on it and I want it to vanish. What is the best snail or critter to introduce to the tank to eat it. My astrae snail have ignored it and the hermits dont touch it either. Keep in mind I do have a nano BC 29.

If you have any loose corals, better attach them first. Lawnmowers will knock alot of stuff over, but they are FULL of personality!

If the lawn mower blenny doesnt seem to work try a sea hare. Cause I have a lawn mower in my tank and he doesn't touch the stuff. The only thing I have found that touches hair algae is the sea hare. Does a fine job but if you run out you can always loan in out.

Not a problem. One other thing to be aware of is that you will want to have your tank covered with a lawn mower blenny. They are jumpers or at lest can be. I found that out the hard way.

get a large mexican turbo snail. it will mow it down short enough that the other snails and hermits will eat it.
