Hi...took the Hydor out to clean it and now it won't start. The problem is that I have a small, round plastic piece with a hole in it..I thought this went into the shaft where the magnet goes...but now I don't think so. I can't find a parts list online anywhere.

Does anyone know of a parts list with a diagram?
Thanks for looking.

I really can't tell by the picture but it looks like your shaft broke and part of it stayed in the motor housing. If so you can just replace the shaft.

Actually, all of the parts are there and fine according to Hydor. I have already taken it back and am awaiting a replacement.

I took the pump back to Steve at Horizon Aquatics and he swapped me out a new one. The broke pump had the plastic shaft and the new one has the stainless steel one. I was happy about that.

The rep from Hydor said they have a 2 year warranty.

HYdor has really impressed me!!! Everyone thought the tunze nanostreams were the top of the line. I have both and my hydor wins hands down!!!! I have had nothing but problems with the tunze. The craftsmanship is the worst. I have replace the clip several times. and just recently took it out of my tank and replaced it with another hydor.
