Is anyone interested in ordering some bulk ferric oxide and carbon from twopartsolution.com I was hoping to split a gallon bucket of phosban with someone. I also plan on ordering some lignite activated carbon. They also have lots of other stuff.

I was looking at about $175 for 2g of DI resin (non color change) $57.99, 1g of ferric oxide $64.99, and "the package" $49.99. It looked to be about 50 lbs of stuff. Any idea about the shipping fees? Some items are free and some are not. Not sure if I want to spend oodles on that kind of weight.

lonestar, you're correct. So far we have 4 people in. Yes, we actually don't have to order together except for the bulk discounts. Monday sounds like a good deadline to send in our emails to activate the group discount. By the way I will be ordering 2 gallons of lignite carbon and 1 gallon of granular ferric oxide. If anyone else is getting gallon sizes of the phosban we should order that as one and get the bigger discount.

Thats what I have gathered....at least 10 people getting whatever they want. Then shipped to each person's address rather than just one. I guess they figure 10 sells is better than 1!

This sounds like a good deal, but when I check the site, they ship UPS. A 40 # order from Minnesota to SA will run about $32 ground.

The recipe sounds great and instructions are provided on the site. Most of the products can be bought bulk here in town. Sam's has the Epson Salt 8 lb. around $3-4 in lawn & gardening. Bulk baking Soda is also at Sam's in baking. Mag Flakes and Dow Flacks should be at Lowes or Home Depot. The video at www.reefvideo.com was step-by-step awesome.
