i have just started to get into polyps corals and anemones, what should i be feeding each. right now i feed the anemones krill and brine shrimp with spirulina. i have a condylactus, and a bubble tip anemone. i have a hard time feeding my bubble tip anything. i am never sure if he is eating or what. is there a way i should feed it?

When I first got my GBTA I feed often 2 or 3 times a week because I was worried about it loosing its bacteria and bleaching out. Now I only spot feed my nem once a week or so. I have rics and candycane corals that I spot feed with mysis and brine and it is really cool watching them eat. I also feed DT's Phytoplankton every other day or every 2 days. Just started with the DT's about 2 weeks ago but everything looks good. Just watch out I was over feeding and my water quality went down hill very quickly. Oh yeah I feed mysis and brine every other day and NLS pellets daily for the fish.

Reef Plankton seems to work good for me. It's very fine food, which I would think that an anemone would have an easier time dealing with. I feed mine krill, but it just lets it go after awhile, so I am not sure if it actually eats any of it. Also the reef plankton feeds everything else coral wise, my palys and zoos love it!

That being said, I definitely fed my tank cyclopeeze which coral and fish alike LOVE....and I made some homemade stuff that drove everything in the tank insane as well...
Never fed my fish solely flake food once I found a recipe they seemed to like...

i have always heard that the value of the kent products was pretty questionable. they're mostly water. i would lean towards the higher end products like DT's, and cyclopeze for corals. that is if you feel the need to feed them at all, i don't. i just feed the tank mysis, and enriched brine, and occasionally some cyclopeze(1X a week). anemones should be able to get what they need from your light, if it's adequate, and whatever they catch when you feed the fish.
