I did a few searches on here and came up pretty empty. Also wasn't sure if this was the right forum to post under, but anyways -

I'm trying to find a few people/businesses/whichever local to the Austin and/or San Antonio area that can build acrylic tanks to get a few price quotes... Anyone have any ideas on who I can contact? And also perhaps who to avoid? ;)

Are you looking for a large acrylic show tank? If you can specify size and what you're going to use it for (sump/refugium or display) I can probably make some recommendations.

Nothing too big or showy... I'm thinking 36x18x18 (50 gal). I'm thinking about acrylic because of the weight factor- I'll be moving in a year or so, and want a tank I can move around without needing help.

Oh, I could do that. I'd use 3/8" Spartech or Cyro, hand polished joints. I thought you were talking about a big tank. Send me a PM if you're interested. I could probably do it before school starts. I guess you'd want it to fit on a standard 45 or 58 gallon stand, right?
