I have 2 Gobies that are 8-10" long and I've been trying to figure out how
to catch them w/ out removing 300+# of rock. They do come out when I feed just for a minute. Then they are back under the rocks. Any body have any ideas? I really don't want to remove any rock.

Buy or borrow a fish trap from someone. Ultralife fish traps work great. I have used mine many times.

From watchin our engineers behavior I would have to agree with jc and say try a fish trap. I don't have too much luck with catching them ours in a net.

All I can say is be prepared to remove some rock. I have some that wouldn't leave their homes.

Okay, I'll try the trap first. Any body have one I can borrow or buy. Oh, do you think a mouse trap will work if i put some
fish food on it? (The sticky one or spring loaded.) LOL

there mouths will be big enough to get a hook in, just put a little piece of shrimp on it and drop it in, just dont let any other fish get it.

Should I use a bobber? And what size of line do you recommend?

I caught a hairy blenny out of a tank using a Sabiki jig. Worked like a charm.

Just make sure if you use a hook that you flatten the barb portion so you don't do any damage to the fishes mouth.
