yeah, if you look at my tank in the daytime, you'd think i don't have very many snails, but after dark, i guess probably near 500 nassarius come out. each 2'X2' side of the tank will have 100 or so snails, plus the ones on the rock.

mine originally came from IPSF in hawaii, and they certainly weren't cheap!, but they have been reproducing ever since. i started out with about 20, sometime around 3 1/2 years ago.

If you read the article, it basically says not to get them from the Ebay sellers in South Carolilna. Those are the wrong kind, apparently. I would think the ones from Hawaii or Florida would be okay, though.
