Feather duster worm out of the tube

I came home from work today and found the feather duster next to the power jet. Fortunately the power jet has a sponge. Does anyone know if I can put the worm back in the tuube?

I think a hermit crab was picking on it.

Not sure if you'd put it back in the tube. I'd wonder if it decided to up and move due to the aggravation you mentioned. I've seen one of mine up and move over a few inches before. I've also thought some of them were dead a few times when I'd find the crown had been shed. Should be fine if not picked on.
