i am in no way affiliated with this company, just passing on this info

i just got this (http://cgi.ebay.com/PROFESSIONAL-CAMERA-TRIPOD-KIT-BALL-GRIP-HEAD-AT-828BL_W0QQitemZ200134406961QQihZ010QQcategoryZ3009 4QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) same tripod off of ebay and it seems to be very well built. shipping is cheap and there are many of this model and other similar models up for auction if anyone is looking for a nice tripod for a reasonable price. i just kept bidding my max bid ( $45 ) until i won one - it only took a day or so.
