Has anyone ever lost 5 fish? I have 5 fish that have disappeared in the last two weeks. If they would have died, then there would be at the least my skimmer going ape but that hasn't happened and NO remains of anything. Here's the list:
Yellow-fin Tang...6"
Powder Blue...4"
Lavender Tang...4"
Orange shoulder Tang...4"
Coral Beauty...3"o evidence that they were ever in my tank except for pix.

FOUR TANGS AND AN ANGEL??? Seriously Steve, SOMETHING is raiding your tank. Anyone notice any maastards with "new" fish?
As noted above, anything you don't know about in the tank? How big is the RBTA - I doubt that's it, but... How about a cat? You lose that kind of livestock in a tank, there HAS to be a spike...

But where did they go? That's the mystery :blink
I was also thinking cat if they were all jumpers (and you had a cat). Then again, it might be MAASTards. Did you get that garage door fixed? :lol

If he doesn't know it's there, how can he tell you it's there?!? :P
I agree, though. The fish can't still be in the tank. Either they jumped, or something went in after them. It's happened to me a coulple of times before, but not with bigger fish like that.

I'd check the over flow if you have one. On second thought.... That many fish in an overflow would definately cause a ruckus. Do you have any large crabs or lobsters. They can make quick work of anything dead. I know it, I've seen it.

Maybe you have a mantis shrimp that hitchhiked in on some rock?

It must have been a undercover sting operation from the tang police... ;)

Not to get off topic, but why did my post show up 3 times?!? I know I've double posted before, but when I saw Solid's reply earlier, mine was there only once.
Maybe whoever is stealing BIGBIRD's fish is repeating my post for me, too. :P

This sounds like a Twilight Zone episode. " The Case of the Disappearing Fish!!" Maybe it was Bigfoot raiding through your garage. But all jokes aside ive heard of 1 or 2 fish missing, but they are usually small specimens; ususally found weeks or months later. Youve got a strange mystery on your hands. Good Luck
