I need to get rid of my rock/sand. I have about 25lbs of rack and 15-20lbs of black sand. The tank ahsn't had a light on it for a couple of months now.
There are one or two pieces of rock that may still have a little bubble algae on it since that stuff can survive anything short or drying the rock out. If you currently have a tank with some bubble algae, this rock will be perfect for your tank. Asking $30, so its a steal.
The sand should still have living stuff in it. I am still seeing snails and stuff crawling around on the glass and sand. Would be great to seed a new tank with some live sand. You could bury it under white sand if you wanted, just don't stir the sand and it should be fine. I actually seeded this tank with some white sand beneath the black. Asking $20.
Will be listing some of the equipment after the tank is empty and I finish moving.
