I was just taking off a rather large piece of round BA and i squeezed it and it sprayed me in the face. I think it pretty much got on my cheek, but possibly on my lips so i rinsed with tap water and spit for 5 minutes. Im going to do more research now...

..You should be fine. The liquid inside are spores. They aren't made to survive in an environment other than saltwater, they cant even live in regular water (yep, i did the experiment).

From a random page:
Because Algae stimulates the immune system, increases white blood cell count and promotes the growth of healthy colonic flora, algae supplements are ideal for improving overall health. Algae is also beneficial for treating anemia, infections, fatigue, obesity and toxicity.
If you search Google for 'Algae Vitamin' you'll get more than a million hits for web pages that tout the benefits of eating algae. And they all just happen to have some you can buy.

Don't think bubble algae will hurt you like that, especially if you washed it off soon after it happened. Of course you always want to avoid getting stuff in your eyes and be careful handling other things in your tank as some of them do have toxins that can hurt you.
