Was driving home when I ran across this little guy flying around the horse pasture. Thought he seemed a little out of place. Maybe he'll create some weird hybrid birdies (If he makes it through the night!!!!) ;)

Here he is hanging around with the fellows!!!! (Sorry for the fuzzy pic!)

Yeah I went back a couple hours after I took the pcis aand he's still hanging around. He flies around with a small flock of wrens. Hopefully he won't starve or get caught by a cat (he kinda stands out!!!)

Anthony, maybe you can lure him over with some birdseed. Who knows he might come right to your hand.

If I see him tomorrow I'll try. One of my neighbors has a bird feeder outside so hopefully it will eat from there.

San Marcos has a colony of parrots along the river. I actually lost a parakeet one time, put up signs, and got it back. Great pets but need more affection than a freakin' cat, lol.

The parrots in San Marcos (if they're the same ones) are Mexican Red-head Parrots, and actually Migrated from Mexico and settled in San Marcos (and maybe Austin).
