Hi, my name is Ismael and will be coming back home to San Antonio in the upcoming months. I currently live in Kansas City, MO and just finished breaking down my tank :angry to put the house on the market. Once it is all squared away, and touched up, I will be making that move to SA. I look forward to meeting some of you and possibly do some trading in the future. I will probably be out of the hobby for a while, until we can get settled in and find a place to put my new tank, but I will be on here asking questions and such and admiring all the tanks in the local area.

I have been in the hobby for a little over a year, my current boss turned me onto this hobby and I ran away with it....started with a 42 gallon...eager...impatient.....lots of casualties...not good :( .

Within a couple of months I was already eyeing a bigger tank...so I upgraded and it ran successfully because I had learned, read, became patient....I made it an in wall display with the front and one of the sides visible. But for personal reasons I have to come home....and the tank (empty) and wall stay in place...

So I took advantage of the situatioin and decided to get a little bigger in tank size...and am done upgrading...so I have told my wife, so she won't kill me... :) ...

On that note, I am off to start painting so I can come back and check out the website....

Ismael

Hey Welcome!! I also moved back to SA from Kansas City, MO back in October. Wife and I moved up there for work and were not to fond of it. Were you a member of fishheads.org? Anyways welcome back and happy reefing!

Small world.......and no not a member of fish heads.....I look on Reef Central, am a member of saltwaterfish.com, and there is a relatively new site that is local to KC and Topeka (salt-city.org)....yeah, job brought up here. It wasn't bad, but it isn't necessarily for us. The wife is back getting things lined up, so I am just here messing around and cleaning up the house.

Thanks for the welcome, and it will be a while until I get back into it, but I can't wait. That is for sure.

Cool, yea fishheads.org is a local club in KC. Hope the move is smooth for you. With me it was 15hrs of driving a U-Haul. And it was not fun, lol.

Thanks everyone...yeah I know it is going to be a haul in the moving truck....but I will take my time. Stay overnight if needed, but the great thing is i'll be coming down to a house to put all our things in....whew....no extra moves...and I will be doing it alone, I can make that drive alone, it's the constant stopping for the kiddos and dog that kills me....

And I can't wait to get started again, cause I have BIG plans.....now I just need to make sure I find a job that will allow my plans to come to fruition...LOL....cause I think Mamma has wiped her hands clean after I told her my plans for the return and closed loop....LOL....And although she loved the last set up...going bigger means more money...LOL....

Thanks again all...
