I checked the ammonia levals in my tank and it was just a little above 0 nothing to explaine how cloudy it is. What else would cause the tank to become that cloudy. I am going to do a water change and see if that will help.

What kinda live stock do you have in there? Is there something kicking up sand?

All i have is 2 tangs 1 chromis and 1 coral beauty serpent star and other small inverts. It could have been the salt that I added the other day to increase the salinity.

It could be...

Did you just pour salt directly into the tank? Its a better practice to drain water out of the tank, mix up a slightly higher salinity with fresh RO/DI water, and then pour back into the tank. But just do it in small increments. You don't want to raise it too high, too fast.

I added it to my top off so that it would not increase to fast. Is there anything else that could cause the water to get cloudy like NO's?

Maybe some sort of bacteria/algae bloom?

Sounds like you may have some calcium precipitation, from your salt addition. Did you put more salt into your top off than normal salinity? Seawater can dissolve only so much calcium and then it precipitates. It SHOULD clear up on it's own - but probably not until your top off is empty. Might want to consider the above suggestion to mix it with some of your tank water.
