WOW!

I moved here a few months ago and am concerned after reading several of the most recent topics.

There seem to be some really bitter vendors and customers out here, and I would like to address them both:

Vendors: Service AND quality. No one is going to go into a store where they are treated badly even if the livestock is top-notch.
No one is going to buy poor livestock no matter how good the service.
A successful business will exhibit BOTH of these qualities, no exceptions.

Customers: If you don't like a store, don't go. It's as simple as that. If you do go and bring your children, control them. It is not a zoo. If you are one of those people that complain about every little thing everywhere you go, no one wants to hear it.

As for the ability of this town to support a diversity of stores: of course it can. This city is huge and this market is growing exponentially. Competition is good for businesses and consumers. It keeps businesses running efficiently and protects us.

And I love the freedom we have to express each others vendor & product experiences, since it is the title of the post. Plus they were old posts. Leave them like that, OLD POSTS. Stop bringing them up.

Old posts, is right. This site is very informative, and plus you find out about great deals, you other wise would not know about...the members & BOD are helpful and go out of their way to help new comers. Welcome to MAAST and SA. :)

I agree...all posts should be deleted after a week. That way, no one can know about the prior track-records of companies, and even fellow MAASTards. That would be very helpful. :roll

Are you saying that history is unimportant?

If you do not want others to see what you write, don't write it.

Leaving the history might encourage people to be more responsible and think a bit more about the things they write.

Maybe not the right thing to do but, I'm curious to know what post(s) you are referring to when you would want to "encourage people to be more responsible and think a bit more about the things they write." Also, i'm sure some of the posts mentioned in this thread were done with sarcasm.

Welcome!!

Yes, my post was meant to be sarcastic...if posts are going to be left on the forum for all to see for any length of time, then that automatically leaves them open to comment for as long as they are there to read. You can tell it was sarcastic by looking at the emoticon I used, "rolling eyes." That's what people do when they are using sarcasm.

I was responding to Urban79's post where he says, "...they were old posts. Leave them like that, OLD POSTS. Stop bringing them up."

Well said. Thats the main reason I never post here. Everyone is too up tight and all snobby about their alligances. I dont care at all who likes to shop where, or why they dont like to shop at other places and even if I did care I would only want to hear about their experience once but to some they make it their agenda to educate the world (210 at least) about how someone didnt drive to their house to drill a tank for them at the drop of a hat. give me a break. Im not saying everyone is guilty, or even that many people at all, but its enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth and make me not ever post on this site. clicks are for highschool. If I wanted drama Id watch VH1...

This thread has been locked...I don't think we need all this whining and bickering. If you have a problem with someone or whatever, then take it to PM. You did exactly what you're griping about...
