New Ebo-Jager heater missing from meeting.

Hey everyone.

Just wanted to post this because someone thought my new in the box Ebo-Jager heater was part of the free pile in the driveway. It actually goes with my new sump and skimmer that was also in the driveway with my Tunze top off system. I know you were probably thinking it was too good to be true. Well, you were right. :)

So if you picked it up please let me know so I can get it back from you and get my setup running soon.

ok. 89 views and no response yet. Please know that I'm not upset about this or accusing anyone of stealing it. It's a simple mistake. I would have taken it too because I think it was actually in the free stuff boxes. Ace offered to buy a new one for me but I wanted to try and get this one back and not have Ace spend his own money on this.

So just give me a shout and I'll come to get it.

I saw it when I was picking through the free stuff at about 3:45. I was like, "wow, this is a nice heater. Too bad it's way to big for our tank." Anyway, I hope it turns up.

Me too. I should have moved it and put it in the sump. Hopefully someone lets me know they have it otherwise it's another 30.00 for another one and I'm not going to ask Ace to help pay for it. It's not really anyones fault. Just a simple mistake.

Hey Johnny, Im sure you will get it back. I know a few people saw someone walking around with it during the meeting but they dont know who (username) it was. I guess it will be a waiting game until that person reads this thread.

I was there when it was figured out it was gone but I didn't see anyone with it. On a side note, I thought it was pretty funny when Zack pulled a piece of tubing out of the "give away" box and was playing with it by your sump and Ace was trying to figure out what it belonged to :lol

I imagine the MAAST orginization has 30 bucks laying around to buy another one if it doesn't turn up in a couple days. As a Charter Member I'd be ok with that. Shall we put it to a vote?

I have one to the USED ones that was in the give away box. I cleaned it up and it seems to be working fine. If the new one doesn't show up, you can have the one I took.

Thanks guys for the interest in helping get a new one. I really dont need the money. I have plenty of that. It's just the thought of buying something you already have that was brand new. And this is what I like about the MAAST group of people. We are all willing to help each other, be it small or big. I'll get e new one if it doesnt show up so no worries there.

And Mike. You called about the used one you picked up. Mine was definatly new and still in the box so you keep the one you have. I have a few heaters I can use also but wanted to stick a new one in since mine are a few years old but still work fine right now.

JimD. Thanks for the offer but you can keep your heaters. Never know when you need one in an emergency. BUT. If you want to give away a bunch of corals again just let me know. I'll be right over. :)

I understand where Tax is coming from, it's the simple principle of trust. Hopefully whoever mistakenly took it will come forward, otherwise this just chips away at the trust that we all have towards each other. We should only be worried about someone stealing our seat at a meeting ;)
