So as stated, are there anyone that would like to help me aquascape my 110 in the next week or 2 ? I am getting a new sump and skimmer this weekend figured I could install it and redue all the LR at the same time. Main reason for the scaping is I need to get my small angel out and that will never happen with the rock in the tank. Plus I want it to look better than it does right now.

Anyone interested? Food, drinks and maybe frags or $$ can be provided. :)

Hello!

Well for me you are a little to far, however my personal preference is tower aqua space and the reasons:

1. I don't have rock touching any of the glasses.
2. There is plenty places to hide, but I will see them no matter what.
3. The water will flow constantly through all the rocks.
4. If you need corals that demand a lot of light, it you will have plenty altitude for them.
5. If you don't have very powerful lighting like me, running PC only, you would be able to keep some medium to high light demanding corals if you want, or maybe an anemone like mine. I had it since I set up the tank 1 year and 8 months ago.
6. Looks pretty seeing the fish swimming under, behind, front , on top of the rock, instead only on the front.

Good luck! ;)

Here's some pictures.

Looks good but I want a lot more rock in my tank. I have a 110 oceanic reef ready with an overflow in each corner. I have about 200lbs LR that is in it now. Mostly SPS. I run MH and VHO lighting with 2 large powerheads and the return lines. I'll need a lot of rock reaching to withinna few inches of the waters surface. But I also want openings for fish to swim as well as water flow. Also need many shelf areas for placing corals. Also with this much rock in the tank and only 18" front to back, rock will be touching the back glass in places which is fine with me. I cant see the back glass anyway from the sides because of the overflow boxes. I'll look trough the galleries and try to find a picture of what I want I guess.

Ohh ok... that's kool... I have lot's of live rock in my sump like 150 lbs, that's why I don't need to have'em on display.
Also I just saw the tank of the month in reefcentral and omg I want the background done with pond foam.. looks greeeeeat. like a REAL reef...

Yea, the foam deal is cool. I just dont have time to make that. And hopefully the new sump will hold about 100 lbs which I didnt think about so I can run less rock in the tank. I'll just see how it goes with the sump and go from there.
