After setting up my new tank, my bubble tip has moved next to/on the side of my Teardrop Maxima. Will this be a problem?

If I need to separate them, should I try to move the clam or the anemone? What's the best way to do either one?

(They are competing for what little light there is in the tank until I can get my new ones.)

:o The bubble tip is now moving up over the mantle of the clam. I think I'm going to try to move the bubble tip.

Leave it alone, they'll figure it out.

Moving the clam would be easier. You might hurt the foot of the anemone.

You can move the clam by gently pulling it off the substrate. Before it comes off, you will see some strings by the foot of it..its ok, you can cut them with a knife..

Yeah leave em be. GMFett had a huge clam and a BTA right on the side of it. If I'm not mistaking!!!

Well, I got too nervous about it.

I decided to move the anemone before anyone got back to me. (I'm not complaining. I don't expect immediate advice or responces, or anyting. Like I said, I just got nervous.)

Both look like they're doing fine. The clam has opened up pretty well. The anemone was kind of protruding from the mouth at first, but now it looks pretty good considering it's under only one normal output flourescent lamp. (I've just set up a new tank and don't have the new lights up yet.)

Thanks for the help. Next time (if there is a next time) I'll just leave them be!

Anemones are funny, we have one that we got from the jettys and it has attached itself to a crab shell. All day and night they cruise around together, it's kinda fun to watch!
