My girlfriend and I went diving this past weekend in Key Largo. This first set is from French Reef. The visibility was good but it was overcast so I had to do a bit more tweeking in Photoshop than I would have liked (I'm not very good at it but Mark gave me a little advise).
Enjoy!

These are from a wreck called the Benwood. The sun came out a little and I think these turned out better:

It's a canon PowerShot S400. Not sure what kind of enclosure it is, my girlfriend bought it online somewhere. Works great though!
We took over a hundered pictures underwater and I'm still sifting through to find the best ones.
Here's a big fat sponge. It's hard to tell from this picture but it was purple with yellow tips. It was about two feet tall:

I did both those dives about a year ago. Isn't the fish life at the Benwood amazing?!?

Very neat. My boyfriend is in Kuwait and just got his certification actually yesterday. He got to do a night dive. He never liked my fish tank before, but he seems to like it a little more now that he is diving. :D
Pictures rock!

Next time add a red filter to the camera. The cheap way is to buy red plastic wrap and cut a piece for over the lens. Will make a big difference. I don't know how to do it but I'm sure there is a way to make a red filter for PS.
I got my certification in Key West and did lost of diving. Even took some underwater photo classes at the college.
Nice shots by the way.. Being able to point the camera in the right direction and frame a shot is the hard part.
