Yeah I heard Mark was planning a plywood tank a few years ago. Looks like its finally in the works. Or this could be a new adventure!

Theres actually a few good plywood tank threads in the Large Reef forum on Reef Central. Once you get to a certain size (or shape) its more economical to do a plywood tank rather than buying a glass or acrylic one. That would be on the upper end of the scale. On the lower end its more cost effective just to buy a prebuilt tank.
