As most of you know, I am moving to SA after just moving three weeks ago. Two tank moves in less than three weeks is pure disaster on a tank. Well, that is more true than I want it to be.

We moved the tank this weekend and had a lot of issues, i.e., a/c not working, three wrecks blocking routes to SA in 95 degree heat delaying arrival, not being able to complete set-up and corals and fish having to stay in tubs or bags overnight. I will document ALL the problems and perils for future reference to anyone moving tanks.

Bottom line is that I have lost practically ALL my SPS and LPS, all but two fish, and my starfish. The next few days will tell the tale.

I will start over...again...you can't get rid of me that easily...

Sorry to hear Steve, I have been very fortunate when moving my tanks back and fourth from school/home. Hopefully whatever is left will make it. When your tank is ready, you know where to find me ;)

Wow

So the AC didn't get resolved...thats a real bummer. You'll be back up and running soon. Look it as a restructuring to move it to the next level. If I had any livestock I'd offer some to ya....but still in the building stages.

if you want, i have some space available for some low light lps and softees, speeading them out to a few other tanks might help lessen the chemical waarefare, and be able to save a few in the process.

Thanks everyone for the offers and the support. I never thought it could hurt like this. I'm gonna let things ride for a little bit and see if anything makes it. This could be an oppurtunity to makes some changes with the tank, stand and canopy. I've been needing to do this but not kill everything to make it happen.

Best part is, you're in SA. Not only do you have some good choices for stores, but a ton of fellow reefers live here as well. Best of luck fine sir!
