Ok so I have a "Pro Series Sea Life" system wet dry. This is pretty much an acrylic box with baffles.
My problem is it is leaking from the bottom curved portion of the sump. Now, can I sylicone the whole entire sump to correct the problem, or is there there a larger issue involved? TYIA VERY MUCH! :D

Is it leaking at a seam or is it cracked in the middle of the pane?
Acrylic is easy to work with. Some Weld-On will fix and leak you got. Plus there is no big down time vs using silicone. I wouldn't use silicone to fix the leak.
If its cracked in the middle of the curved pane, not sure how good a repair job would hold up down the road.
Is the sump in use now or is it something that can be pulled out, and worked on? You can get some Weld-On at Regal Plastics or Allied Plastics in San Antonio. Most likely they are going to be closed on Memorial Day though.

Ace will get you fixed up. From what I remember silicone does not stick to acrylic. It is best to use Weld-On.
